The Sleeper Must Awaken: Publishing Teasers!

The creative impulse is restless, and those of us who hear the call tend to appease its appetites on a more or less daily basis, even if we're forced to do so in a part-time capacity due to the unfair realities of life on Planet Earth.
I'm no exception, but a new job slowed me down temporarily on the publishing font, and to be perfectly honest, the collapse of my country and the world has left me apathetic and depressed some of the time. This doesn't mean I haven't been writing. It also doesn't mean I haven't been putting in some serious hours on my guitar music. Still, I have been quiet to all outward appearances, and for that I apologize.
All of that is about to change, though, so listen up. There's good news ahead. I've been writing fiction at a pace I haven't enjoyed in several years. I've been invited to an exciting fiction anthology for which I've written one of the best stories of my career. And I'll be publishing a signed, limited edition of my short fiction with a publisher I've hoped to work with for a long time (we're probably looking at a 2027 or 2028 publication date on this, so stay tuned).
That's the tip of the iceberg. I have a number of saleable short stories on hand and will be actively shopping them this year. I'm also knee deep in my first novella, with which I'm having an absolute blast. And of course I'm itching to get back into the Portable Nine series of novels, which has not been lying as dormant as you might reasonably be inclined to believe.
So, tallyho, one and all! I spy the fox, and the chase is on. Treat each other better than the billionaires want you to, okay? And cut yourself some slack once in a while, yeah?
Till next time ...
