As promised, I'm here with an update regarding the publication of my latest poem. "Black Skull" appears in issue 22 of The Literary Hatchet. "Black Skull" is my second poem for The Literary Hatchet. I had a poem in issue 15 called "The Primal Sympathy," which was a nod to the inspiration I've taken from William Wordsworth, Robert Frost, and Dr. Seuss over the years. "Black Skull," by contrast, is my answer to the question, What if a cowboy poet were to turn his hand to the horror genre?
